When Students Grow Up

A few weeks ago I was able to officiate a former students wedding.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate a beautiful moment between two people who love each other.
The night also gave me a chance to reconnect with all these fine people.

Sergio with Cody.  Sergio is more than a former student but a friend.  He inspires me to follow Jesus & he is a rad partner in ministry!

This is Christian.  Christian is a former student who has given me more stories about stupid, random & crazy stories that are all true, but you had to be there to believe it.  They involve FBI, Mexico Federales, Sandals & Sleep walking

Tommy.  Tommy's first church experience was in my living room.  He trusted his life to Jesus as a High School Junior.  I had the privilege of being there in his life when his dad died & have kept in touch since he has returned after a tour overseas as a Marine.  Tommy has some of the best one liners I've ever heard & really wants to live life to the fullest.











Aaron was a freshman football player that I coached.  He had a high pitched voice & always said "OK COACH".  Aaron then stepped into our High School ministry, trusted Jesus with his life and is currently an EOD Specialist with the USMC.  He has a crack up personality & has a trust in God's sovereignty & is growing in his faith every year.
