From my journal

Some thoughts from my journal....

Living out a false sense of self and identity creates a compulsive desire to present a perfect image to the public faces around you.  We do this so people admire us, look up to us & truthfully so they do not see the reality of us.  We are afraid for people to take peak behind the curtain of our heart and see the dysfunctional pain we all live with, but are too proud to allow it.  We are incomplete and we struggle with that, but there is no way in hell we want to admit that.  To admit we have failures or faults and be ok with them would require us to know they don't define who we are really are.  And this is just it, we are willing to be seen but not to be known by others because we don't even know who or what we really are.

The pilgrimage of every person's life is guided by their heart, soul & mind.  So often these three things fight each other rather than work with each other.  They fight with each other cause we allow each of them to be filled with separate desires.  When we do that we are always pulled separate directions and never really satisfied with anything.  What does your behavior in life look like?

Plato stated "Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge"

What does your behavior look like?  Someone who is hiding from themselves or someone who is wanting to live their life in a satisfied fullness?
