And the BLOG is revived!!!
Well since July 30th we have been on a road trip and i intentionally did not blog before we left or while we were gone so this post is a recap of the trip and the begin of a whole slew of posts coming.
We drove to Colorado to spend 7 days with my wife's family and then 7 days with mine. We spent 7 days in MESA, COLORADO with 17 people, 4 dogs and a whole lot of fun on 5 acres of pure beauty. We swam in the natural spring pond, worked on cleaning up the spring growth of weeds and trees, ate a bunch of food and enjoyed each others company.
On the way there we drove with my wife's sister and brother in law as they towed thier camper. The camper blew a tire and after we got the new one my brother-in-law was a little hesitant about blowing another one so from Vegas to Mesa we drove about 52MPH and a 12 hr trip took 18 hours. I remember how much i hate driving through the night!!!
We enjoyed the time with my wife's family then went to spend a week with mine. We fished [with success], ate a lot, drove the tractor, the boys road the horses and we just enjoyed time with my family. Cody caught a 20", 19" & 13" rainbow trout. Cole caught a 17" & a 11" rainbow trout. It was feeing seeing them have this first experience.
I truly enjoyed the talking, relaxing and enjoying each others prescence. Here are some pictures of the adventure...
