Friday was a great day of nothing for me!
A day off and vegging with my youngest. We went for a bike ride, hung out and just relaxed all day. Then we went to dinner with some friends of ours at their house for a great meal.
Saturday we don't have baseball so we are going to just relax and take the day as it comes.
The importance of being able to be 'off' on a weekend is key and welcomed
It gives you the chance to not mentally take your mind off a to-do list. It physically gives you the chance to do something else than your normal routine.
It gives you the opportunity to invest in your family. You just have to be the one to use that time wisely.
Josh Griffin had some great thoughts on this as well here
If your in ministry, use your day off wisely!
