Waiting or Patient

"Waitient"

So this is a new word my wife came up with and shared it with me earlier this week. She was in the middle of trying to describe to me how we are trying to wait on God and she is trying to be patient for the answer and this is the phonological utterance that was made.

Now when my ears first heard the ringing of a new saying i was quite troubled at trying to make sense of the deeper meaning, but once she shared with me the reason behind the why i was quick to begin to want to use the new word.

So it made be begin to think, "What makes new words become part of the common language?"

Regardless of if this phenomenon becomes part of American culture, in our family we have a new word we will use.
