What A Night!!!

Well i knew one had to happen sooner or later. You know one of those gonna scream out loud just to vent some steam, need to find a baseball bat & a batting cage to let off a little tension, go for a 3 mile run just to be able to see strait again. Yep one of those nights.

It all started with the fact that on our JR High night the preschool decided to have its Christmas program, with a meal, tonight. This meant trying to keep our Jr high students (who 80% are non churched heathen, rude, obnoxious, Jesus loves them dearly type kids & i try too) out of the food. This did not start off well when before the night even go going we realized the power pack to the XBOX 360 was jacked.

Then while putting the power points together 2 girls ran into my office saying the dumpster was on fire. I thought, "nah" but grabbed the fire extinguisher anyway. And sure enough the sucker was blazing! Of course the 1st responder in me reacted and started putting out the fire instead of grabbing my phone and taking a picture. But I got it put out. The whole yellow dumpster is now black. It smelled of gasoline so my guess was intentional & there is toilet paper all over the place to clean up.

The rest of the night seemed to go smooth till i got ready to go home & realized i lost the key to the church van which i had been borrowing. Major problem cause it is the only key there is to it. I walked home hoping it was in my wife's car from when i switched out the car seats, but nope!
So all that to say I did not get to spend any quality time with my wife tonight, i still am missing the van key, i need to clean up the fire mess tomorrow, I still have to pack for a flight out to Denver on Friday for my sisters graduation & then drive back with my new car on Sunday. I am taking a former student with me so the road trip should be decent, but i really want a vacation with my wife!
