No doubt in the last 45 days life has been beyond stressful. The constant worries, pressures and even frustrations has left me within the breaking point of what my grandma used to say "harry carry" or chaos.
But it seems that most of my days i am able to close my eyes and be at a peace. Without a doubt i know two reasons why.
1- I take my relationship with my family very serious. So i can't stress on certain things that would make the moments i have with my wife miserable or make my kids feel like i don't want them around. I take my family more serious than i do any problem that comes my way.
2- I take my relationship with Jesus Christ vital to my day. There is no point calling myself a follower of Christ if i don't follow Christ's instructions for all aspects of my life. This means an ultimate surrender, humility & destruction of my own pride to be able to live the way He calls people to. To allow me to do this i have been doing much reflecting through the words & eyes of great thinkers before my. Abraham Heschel, Henry Nouwen, Desert Fathers, and even my own heart.

I feel the greatest opportunity each person has is the moment during which a choice is being made. For in that moment the divine existence of God is manifested. The ability to think, reason, choose & enjoy are reflective of God at work. For it is in the moment of the choice that we either align ourselves with the Deity's standard or with our own. Often with our own we reap consequences of our fallible being, often with the divine's we get through the fallible world's streets of congestion because our decision was usually the road less traveled.
May you ENJOY THE DAY
