Self-Reflections

In the last 2 weeks i have had some serious self reflection about my life, my relationship with Christ, my family and everything in between.

It all started with a verse i read, Isaiah 45:12. What really has caused me to wrestle is this verse
It is I who made the earth
and created mankind upon it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens

I have come to a very real fact. Our lives are at the mercy and grace of God alone. He allows us to live, breathe and move. He has placed us in this time in history for a reason. He has put mankind here which includes me, my family, friends and everyone else. If he has put me here than why? Why am I here? Why were my boys given to me and my wife? What purpose do they have? What purpose does my wife and I individually and together have in the future?

I have so many longings, desires & passions but all of them are a mute point unless i submit them to the creator and designer. Anything i want to be able to experience must be in line with Christ's desires for my life, anything else i would do would be pointles..

I know it may seem like rambling but these are the daily conversations i have been having with myself in my mind and heart while i sit in silence and wait for God to speak.
