A Poem

So i have had a poem in my head for the last 2 weeks and decided i would write it down today...

Where the echo stop

I want to go where there is no echo
I want to listen to nothing but silence
My heart speaks to a hollow grave
Deep inside that grave there must be an end
An end where the echo stops

I want to go where there is no echo
I want to listen to nothing but silence
My soul cries itself to sleep as it listens to is returning sobs
My only desire is to hear nothing, nothing, nothing
The nothing i want to hear is the nothing that comes from where the echo stops

I want to go where there is no echo
I want to listen to nothing but silence
I want the silence to take over
I want the echo of life to stop
The maddening, haunting, driving fear the echo causes

I want to go where there is no echo
I want to listen to nothing but silence
I want to know that the echo is no more
I want to know that the voice of life is real
I want to know that my life has meaning, a destiny & the longing for more will one day be met
I want to know that the echo won't haunt me anymore

I want to go where there is no echo
I want to listen to nothing but silence
The silence that says my souls desires have been met
