Marshmellow Shooter

Ok so i used to believe that there were only 4 tools that every youth pastor must use at any point in time in ministry...

1- ROAD TRIP-- I mean taking as small as 3 or as many as 300 students on a road trip longer than about 2 hours will create some serious memories. These are great for leaders, small groups & volunteers

2- Water Balloon launcher-- Small group boring. Students stop by after school/practice. Volunteer needs a lashing. Break out the trusted surgical tubing & a funnel & launch water balloons over 100yds. You can create targets with cars, houses & even unruly students.

3- Camping-- If you want to have some fun, take some city kids and go camping. Or have the camping kids take a city raised youth pastor camping. Either way memories will be made, pranks will be pulled & God is enjoyed in creation & the quitness of the worl.

4- Toilet Paper-- face it, it really never gets old

But now i have added a 5th element to my list.
$2.73 cents worth of PVC, small marshmellows & you have a shooter that is good to about 30-40feet. Great amount of fun with this thing we are having! If you want specifics of construction let me know...

I have a marshmallow shooter as well. Ours looks different than this, but it is the same concept... and we have some people with lungs strong enough to shoot a marshmallow at someone and actually leave welts... which is what we call good youth ministry.

I also like the fun product placement of Doug Fields' What Matters Most book... I hope you get a percentate. God bless!
